Landscapes
Why shoot landscapes?
It seems a silly question, but I think it’s relevant to ask it. They have the same strange attraction that sunsets, or sunrises for that matter, do. They are virtually everywhere and appear simple and easy enough to shoot that everyone can do it. And herein lies the difficulty – to take compelling and beautiful photographs of something that is ever-present and even banal and cliché.
I must admit that I am only at the beginning of trying to figure out this type of photography. Great photographers have spent their lifetime shooting landscapes. In this gallery I will show whatever good-enough photos I manage to shoot.
