Golden Gate Bridge
It’s been called the most iconic bridge of the world and is supposedly the most photographed bridge on the planet.
It may have to do with its beautiful art deco design elements or how it seems to defy gravity by just gracefully hanging across the Golden Gate Strait as if that was the easiest thing in the world to do. Or is it perhaps that vermillion international orange colour that lights up so beautifully by the sun’s light?
Whatever it is, for a steel bridge which opened in 1937 it still looks perky and has withstood the tooth of time - and of bridge design - really well.
