Flowers

Some say flowers are the lazy photographer’s subject. That may be true but it is quite tricky to shoot flowers. For one, they move at the slightest wind and secondly the best angle is often not where the sun is shining. Then there’s the fact that they tend to live in places where there are lots of other things around, like bushes, branches and trees which can make getting the shot difficult.

Still, I enjoy photographing them because of their infinite variety in colours and shapes and because the world would be a much duller place (and quite dead, actually) if they didn’t exist.
