Blur
For many years I have taken blurry photographs. Sometimes it’s been a blurred version of a scene I have also photographed in focus, and other times I’ve taken stand-alone shots.
There has never been any artistic or metaphysical intention behind this, such as to “explore” or “comment upon” the world from a removed observational vantage point unencumbered by reality’s intricacies. Rather, I’ve just done it for laughs to see what the photo would look like.
Only later did I realise that this had become a habit of mine and so I thought it might be interesting to present the images as a series.
